1. Meditation

Meditation is the best and easy way to get rid of depression easily. You need to sit at a quiet place where no one can disturb you. Regulate your breathing, and attempt to let go of your thoughts. Don’t think too hard about not thinking though if something pops into your head, acknowledge it, and let it go. This is just one basic start to meditating there's tons of different ways you can go about it, and where you choose to take it and how far is up to you.

2. Get Enough Sleep

Less sleep can make depression more badly. Depression can make it hard to get enough shut-eye, and too little sleep can make depression worse.

What is the solution? Start by making some changes to your lifestyle. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Try not to nap. Take all the distractions out of your bedroom -- no computer and no TV. In time, you may find your sleep improves.

When you are depressed try to do things which you enjoy. Try to watch funny movies, comedy shows or hang out with friends, go for shopping or anything that you want to do. Don’t sit alone in a room. Ignore the feeling of sadness and find some positive things to enjoy your life.
