1. Drink More Water

Dry stools or gas is the common problem occurred in constipation, so if you drink more water, the easier it will be to pass the gas or stool. So drink more water.
  • Men should drink at least 3 liters of water per day. 
  • Women should drink 2-2.5 liter water per day. 
  • You can drink other fluids such as juices, herbal teas, and clear broths all these are good sources of fluids. 
  • If you are suffering from constipation than avoiding caffeinated and alcoholic beverages. Caffeinated beverages like coffee and sodas, as well as alcohol, are diuretics. Diuretic dehydrates your body by causing fluid loss through increased urination. This may make constipation worse.

2. Lubricant Laxatives

  • Lubricant laxatives make bowel movements slippery and easy to pass. Castor oil, olive oil, and mineral oil can all help to make bowel movements easier and less painful.

3. Eat More Fiber

  • Ginger tea is a warming herb that causes the inside of the body to generate more heat; herbalists say this can help speed up sluggish digestion. In tea, the hot water will also stimulate digestion and help relieve constipation. Dandelion tea is also a gentle laxative and detoxifies.

  • Almonds- 2-3
  • Dried figs- 2
  • Honey- 1 tablespoon

The process to do this:
  • Soak 2-3 almond and dried figs in water for few hours. 
  • Now peel the almonds and grind the ingredients. 
  • Consume this mixture with 1 tablespoon of honey at night.

7. Fennel Seeds

Fennel seeds are responsible for smooth muscle movement in the digestive tract so fennel seeds can be used to treat problems like indigestion, constipation, bloating and irritable bowel syndrome.

What will you need? 
  • Fennel seeds- 1 cup
  • Warm water

The process to do this:
  • Roast one cup of fennel seeds. 
  • Now grind them and sieve the mixture. 
  • Now store this powder in a jar. 
  • Consume ½ t the teaspoon of this powder daily with the warm water. It is the best home remedy for constipation.

8. Honey

Honey is also beneficial for treating constipation problem as it acts as a mild laxative. So need to only consume it daily.

What will you need?
  • Honey- 2 teaspoons
  • Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon

The process to do this:
  • Take 2 teaspoons of honey 2-3 times a day for a few weeks. 
  • Or, you can mix 1 tablespoon each of lemon juice and lemon juice in a glass of warm water. Drink this mixture every morning on an empty stomach.

9. Dates with Milk for Constipation

This is also an effective home treatment for the treatment of constipation.

What will you need?
  • Seedless Dates: 2-3 
  • Milk: 1 

The process to do this:
  • Add dates in one glass of milk and boil it over a slow flame for a couple of minutes. 
  • Let the milk cool down at room temperature until it becomes lukewarm. 
  • Drink this milk before sleeping to get effective results.

10. Soaked Raisins with Milk (Constipation Home Remedy)

Raisins are the rich source of calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium. So it is one of the easy home treatment for constipation.

What will you need?
  • Raisins: 10-12
  • Milk: 1 glass
The process to do this:

  • Soak raisins overnight in the water. 
  • In next morning take all raisins out from water and boil them in a glass of milk. 
  • Stir well and drink this milk on empty stomach.
